Junior Inclusion football launching in February

Saints Southwest is delighted to announce an expansion of our Saints Inclusion provision in the South West.

As well as our adult Inclusion football sessions which run at Paignton Academy on Wednesday evenings, we’re launching a junior Inclusion session on Wednesday, February 22.

The session, which will also run at Paignton Academy between 5pm and 6pm, is aimed at young people aged 7-12 years old.

Community Manager Cody Levell said: “This is a fantastic opportunity for young individuals who consider themselves to have a disability and/or additional needs to get involved in football.

“There has never been a better time to get involved and play football, whatever your ability level.

“There are now more opportunities than ever to play football if you have a disability.

“Saints Southwest believe in flexible, inclusive and accessible playing opportunities for everyone.

“We are committed to delivering a range of opportunities for players with a disability to access football at various levels across the county.

“At Saints Southwest, we are committed to developing opportunities for footballers with a disability – whether as a player, coach, referee, or volunteer.”

In a further expansion of our Inclusion sessions, details of a re-arranged B1 Blind Football taster session in Taunton will be announced soon.
