Over 160 Players. 1 Purpose. 2 Incredible Charities.
Saturday 17th May 2025 was a day to remember.
Hosted at Newton Abbot Rugby Club, the CCG Decorators & Saints Southwest Charity Cup 2025 brought together over 160 adult footballers for a competitive, inclusive, and unforgettable 6-a-side tournament — all in support of two life-changing causes: Exeter Leukaemia Fund (ELF) and The Stanley Beau Foundation.
From the first whistle to the final trophy lift, the day was full of energy, passion, and unity — football once again proving its power to bring communities together for something much bigger than the game.

Community Football at Its Best
With teams travelling in from across the region, the atmosphere was electric from the moment the gates opened. After registration, photos, and a manager briefing in the Saints Southwest office, it was down to business.
⚽ Fierce group matches🥇 Knockout rounds filled with drama🍔 Family BBQ, cold drinks, and kids’ fun zones🎤 Charity speeches that moved us all🎶 A live band to close the day with a bang
Every detail was delivered with purpose, all to raise thousands of pounds and awareness for two charities that support families going through the unthinkable.

Special Thanks
Massive gratitude goes out to:
Mike Saxton and the team at Newton Abbot Rugby Club for their incredible support and venue partnership
Our tournament officials, staff, and volunteers who made the day run smoothly
Everyone who bought raffle tickets, donated, and cheered from the sidelines
None of this would have been possible without your support. Thank you for being part of something meaningful

A Word from Our Director
"This isn’t just about football — it’s about people. We created the Charity Cup to give the community a chance to play with purpose. To see over 160 adults step out and raise thousands for ELF and the Stanley Beau Foundation is honestly incredible. This day proves just how powerful football can be when it’s built on heart, not just competition."— Mark Titchard, Director – Saints Southwest
