Bridgwater United Under-16s vs SSW Devon Under-16s

Saints Southwest's Devon Under-16s, pictured, got their season off to a positive start with a good performance in their draw at Bridgwater United on Saturday.

The travelling side managed to have 16 shots, eight of which were on target, during a game in which they played some great football.

Jack A got the Saints' only goal – assisted by Jake B – with the hosts cancelling it out late in the second half.

'We're off to a good start,' said Saints U16s head coach Mark Titchard. 'We played some fantastic football in some really good areas.

'A special mention, too, for Leo Gilley-Sweet who made his first start in the JPL. Leo has come from our Torbay Development Centre and it was brilliant to see him make the step up.'
