Following an initial consultation, our coaches can design and tailor specific Personal Coaching sessions which will enable the player to develop and improve under professional guidance.
PERSONAL FOOTBALL COACHING
Beginner 1-2-1 Coaching Sessions. Perfect for any person just starting to take part in football, wanting to learn and develop their skills and gain a better understanding of skill acquisition.
Intermediate 1-2-1 Coaching Sessions
Perfect for any player who has a good foundation of fundamental movements and wants to further enhance and develop their skills acquisition and game understanding. Players currently playing at school or at a grassroots club.
Saints Southwest offer 4 types of Personal Football Coaching session:
Benefit from expert football coaching for players of all ages, aiming to develop your strengths and improve the weak areas of your game. Ideal for isolating skill and technical weaknesses and following programmes to improve these areas in a positive environment, free from pressure or fear of failure.
All sessions are 45-minute sessions with the player working 1 to 1 with a coach. This can be on a specific area or sessions on all-around technique and gameplay.
Confidence – regular positive feedback and signs of self-improvement
Intensity – train harder than what is possible within group environments
Control – first touch and ball mastery
Shooting – varied techniques and the power behind a shot
Dribbling – a combination of skill and speed
Passing – including the movement before and after completing a pass
Fitness – stamina, strength, speed and agility, strength & conditioning

Advanced 1-2-1 Coaching Sessions
For all players aged 14 and above, who are regularly playing at development, county and academy levels, wanting to fine-tune their IDPs (Individual Development Points) to improve their performances.
Professional 1-2-1 Coaching Sessions
For all senior aged players playing either full or part professionally or an amateur level, wanting to fine-tune their touch, sharpness, fast-twitch movement and game-related fitness.
PERSONAL FITNESS COACHING
PERSONAL COACHING ENQUIRY FORM
Squads train twice a week and follow an advanced, structured syllabus with an emphasis on technical, tactical, psychological, social and physical development.
All players have access to Futsal training at least every 5 weeks, while also receiving specialist Goalkeeper and Strength & Conditioning coaching.
Matches in the Junior Premier League are usually played on a Saturday morning. Players development is continually monitored by fully FA qualified and licensed and is nationally affiliated by The FA.
Involvement in the Youth Phase Regional Programme does NOT detract players from their local club football they are already involved in. They will be able to maintain their training and matches with their club team.
