WHY THESE SESSION WORK

Fun first: Every session is built around fun, ensuring children enjoy being active and return week after week.

Quality coaching: Our coaches are FA-qualified, DBS-checked, experienced, and trained in delivering age-appropriate, inclusive football sessions.

Strong coach-to-child ratios: To ensure safety, attention and progression, we maintain strict ratios (for example 1 coach to 12 children in younger age groups, and appropriate ratios for older groups).

Physical literacy & development: We emphasise fundamental movement skills (agility, balance, coordination), ball skills, spatial awareness and social skills, all through game-based, engaging activities

Inclusion & accessibility: All children are welcome, whatever their ability level. We’re committed to inclusive sport environments for players with disabilities and additional needs.

Safeguarding & Quality Assurance:

  • Every coach has a valid DBS check, vetted and has been fully onboarded.

  • Coaches receive regular professional development and adhere to our internal quality assurance standards.

  • Venues are vetted for suitability, safe surfaces, first-aid readiness, and accessibility.

  • We monitor coaching delivery, session safety and feedback to ensure consistency.

  • Your child’s safety, welfare and enjoyment are our priority.

Values-led: Our sessions are underpinned by the Saints values Standards, Aspiration, Integrity, New Thinking, Together, Skills, and we expect children, coaches and parents to engage positively.
