CCG & Saints Southwest Charity Cup 2024

General

• There will be 24 spaces available
• 24 Teams split into four leagues of 6 teams. 
• Each league of 6 teams will play each other once 
• The top 2 teams which win their league of 6 will go into the Cup, Plater or Shield knock-out stages. 
• Winners of the quarter-finals go into the semi-finals 
• Winners of the semi-finals go into the grand final. 
• Runners up will receive a medal each

Rough Overview of the Day

• (8.30 am - 9.00 am) Teams arrive for registration and team photos
• (9.15 am - 9.30 am) Managers/team representative meeting/briefing
• (9.30 am - 9.40 am) Expectations/standards for the day
• (9.40 am - 9.55 am) Teams warm-up
• (10.00 am - 1.00 pm) Group/League stage
• (2.00 pm - 3.00 pm) Quarter Finals, Semi-finals and final
• (3.00 pm - 3.15 pm) Presentation - Trophies, Medals and Merchandise

Rules

• The game duration will be confirmed in the tournament pack sent out two weeks before
• 3 points for a win
• 1 point for a draw
• 6-aside (MAX SQUAD SIZE 10 PLAYERS) 
• Squads are only permitted to have two contractual players represent them. 
• Kick-Ins 
• Shin pads MUST be worn.
• Goalkeepers must stay in the designated penalty area for the whole game
• Swearing and misconduct will result in a straight penalty for the opposing side and a sin bin issued to the player in question
• In the event of a goal kick, the opposition side must retreat outside of the penalty area zone. 
• In the event of a penalty, all players other than the penalty taker and goalkeeper must be outside of the area/box.
