Saints Southwest have proven Football & Coaching Academy programmes designed to give 16-19 year old students a firm stepping stone towards a career in sports, teaching and coaching industry. This 2-year programme gives students a good academic understanding as well as offering a hands on experience in being coached and mentored by UEFA qualified coaches. All students will gain their first FA Coaching award which will then allow students to support Saints Southwest with their community programmes. On an average timetable students will have 18 hours of lessons, receive 8 hours coaching/training/coaching clinics, play in a U19 college league alongside revision and home study.
Following a successful 2 year programme, students will have access to many exits routes to either further their education at university, apply for a 1 year apprenticeship/internship with Saints Southwest as well having a good opportunity to apply for any job vacancies which may be available within the industry.
