Saints Southwest are committed to ensuring schools receive the very best sport and physical activity provision. The government has pledged over £450 million on improving PE and sport within primary schools from 2013-2016 through the Schools Sport Premium.

From September 2017 the School Sports Premium funding will DOUBLE from £160 million per year to £320 million per year to help schools support healthier, more active lifestyles. This funding will enable primary schools to make further improvements to the quality and breadth of PE and sport they offer. This funding is ring-fenced and therefore can only be spent on provision of PE and sport in schools. Through our dedicated team of coaches we are able to listen to the demands and come up with various solutions which will meet the criteria of the short, medium and long term plans set.

Further information and advice regarding Primary PE and Sports Premium can be found at

This funding – provided jointly by the Departments for Education, Health and Culture, Media and Sport – has been allocated to primary school headteachers.
